I listened to Caroline Casey’s Visionary Activist show on KPFA.org today, and was struck when she shared that when the Dalai Lama first came to America, someone asked why does Tibet has this suffering karma.
He said because of the terrible treatment of women..
I’m very curious about this statement and wish to learn more about what the Dalai Lama means.
I’m also aware that there is consciousness of women being treated poorly coming back to haunt those who do so.

Lifetime TV has a campaign, headed up by several celebrities, to end violence against women. They provide many resources for ways that you can become active in helping to change the consciousness that creates and causes and allows violence against women.
Did you know that. one in three women worldwide will be beaten, raped, coerced into sex or otherwise abused in her lifetime. Every two and a half minutes, somewhere in America, someone is sexually assaulted. Every 15 seconds a woman is physically assaulted by an intimate partner. It’s time to end violence against women. It starts with you learning all the facts. ยป
